Project Spotlight: Outdoor Wedding Venue at Pine Ridge Country Club

Marks Building Co. recently completed a commercial project through the Lake County Metroparks, constructing an outdoor wedding space for Dino's Catering in front of the Pine Ridge Country Club in Wickliffe.

The space features an outdoor stage area that seats approximately 70 people, complete with trellis work and an arbor backdrop — along with raised beds that will be filled with various plants and flowers — that is ideal for first-look photos and shots of the wedding party. The outdoor venue is positioned to overlook the first tee box of the golf course, with trees specifically lined up to serve as a natural flourish in the background. This outdoor space is a beautiful new addition to Dino's indoor wedding accommodations, and should enhance the club's wedding offerings for Northeast Ohio couples for years to come.

In addition to the outdoor venue, Dino's is also continuing the overall project with an indoor bridal suite, giving brides and their wedding parties a space to prepare and change for events. The project also involved the construction of three total bathrooms: two for the public attending the venue and a private one within the bridal suite.

Before this project came to fruition through a public bidding process and cooperation with the Metroparks, Dino's Catering had indoor space for receptions, but ultimately lacked a functional area for ceremonies, often forcing them to figure out alternate solutions for hosting full weddings. With this new outdoor space, the facility is able to expand its offerings, turning the Pine Ridge Country Club into a complete wedding destination in Lake County.
